Professor (Dr.) C.R.Jilova is working in the Department of Law at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (India). He completed his LL.B. and LL.M. from the University of Mumbai and earned his Ph.D. from M.D.U. Rohtak, Haryana. He has successfully guided eight students to completion of their Ph.D., while six others are currently pursuing their Ph.D. Additionally, under his supervision, 415 students of LL.M. have completed their dissertations. Professor Dr. C.R. Jilova published 34 research papers in national/international/peer-reviewed/Scopus/UGC CARE listed journals and five chapters in books and authored two books. “Law of Cruelty in India” has been published by Universal Law Publishing and Lexis-Nexus, and another one, “Law, Social Transformation and Judicial Process in India,” was published by Geh International Publishers in 2024. Professor Dr. C.R. Jilova delivered over 114 papers/lectures in various national/international seminars/conferences. He had been a member of the selection committee, Board of Studies, DRAC, All India Law Teachers Congress, and an elected member of Kurukshetra University Court. He is also an Editor of Kurukshetra Law Journal. Professor Dr. C.R. Jilova has over 20 years of teaching and research experience in UG, PG, and Ph.D. supervision and of administrative experience in the Indian Air Force, and also worked as Chief Security Officer of Kurukshetra University.
